Welcome to IBBY Canada’s spring 2022 newsletter. Each time I collate the articles for our quarterly newsletter I am truly amazed at all the activity that has occurred since we last reached out to you! And this edition is no exception.
As the world continues to be volatile, with COVID still ravaging many places, all too common violent attacks on people due to senseless hatred, and wars waged against innocents, sometimes we are challenged to find the good news stories. I hope reading these articles serves to shine a light on the goodness that can be accomplished when we work together to make positive change. IBBY’s work in Canada and around the world, led by our volunteers, continues to be invaluable in connecting children to books, to hope, to humanity.
